uncomfortable was the scene where the police officer tom Hansen shot and killed
peter waters. This was very disturbing to me because it shows the prejudice
beliefs of white people against minorities, specifically black people. The cop
assumed that Larenz Tate character was reaching for a gun and without even
hesitating murdered the black kid.
The
character that I feel most familiar with in the movie is Anthony played by
Ludacris. As a black man I just like this character is stereotypically viewed
for being a crook a murderer and a lazy person. Anthony in the play is a very
educated black man who seems to have knowledge about a lot of things but conforms
to the pressures of society by doing what society expects of black men.

thought that this film handled the topic of race very well. He said that they
did a fantastic job of displaying racial situations that happen nationally
everyday. There was a lot of interracial prejudice portrayed in the film.
Ludacris’ character explained himself on how white people view blacks and also
different example of how blacks view each other. One example was when the black
waitress was not serving them coffee. Mathew stated that living in Los Angeles
